Reduces dust load inside the silo system
The dust extraction of an element silo system is carried out by means of fixed pipes. A dust extraction pipe is installed in each silo. The vacuum in the pipe system absorbs fine dust from the silo during the filling of the silo.
The vacuum is controlled with the grain drying control system. When using Ultima, the vacuum starts automatically. When Optima is in use, the vacuum can be controlled manually.
Extracting dust from the silo system reduces the dust load inside the dryer. Dust extraction improves the quality of the grain but is also an occupational safety issue. The less surface dust there is, the safer it is to move around. Grain dust in the breathing air strains the lungs and significantly affects occupational well-being.
