Dust extraction of the elevator is possible with a connecting dust vacuum installed between the elevator tubes. The vacuum absorbs fine dust from the elevator pipes while the elevator is running. In other words, dust extraction and cleaning are always performed when the elevator is used.

When processing wet grain, the elevator vacuum also removes moisture from the dryer. As the moisture is extracted through the elevator pipes, the surfaces of the pipe system are also cleared of dust.

Dust extraction improves the quality of the grain but is also an occupational safety issue. The less surface dust there is, the safer it is to move around. Grain dust in the breathing air strains the lungs and significantly affects occupational well-being.
