Read moreSnow‑covered landscapes welcomed a group of Norwegian farmers as they traveled through the Finnish countryside to explore some of Finland’s farm operations and visit the Antti factory. Organized in close cooperation with our distributors Svenska Antti and Norske Antti, the two‑day visit offered an inspiring deep dive into modern grain‑handling technology and practical solutions designed for today’s farming challenges.
From the very beginning, the program was packed with hands‑on demonstrations showcasing Antti’s versatile dryer setups. Guests were able to experience a diverse range of systems in full operation, including:
Each site demonstrated how easily Antti systems adapt to different farm sizes, capacities, and operational requirements. Finnish grain‑handling technology made a clear impact — especially as Norwegian farms are often smaller and have traditionally relied on centralized operators such as the Fjällesköpet cooperative.
In recent years, the Norwegian market has shown growing interest in farm‑scale drying solutions. After a quieter period, investment appetite is rising again, supported by modernization needs and government funding avenues such as Innovation Norge.
Customer Impressions — What Resonated Most?

Anstein Freberg, a diversified farmer from Eastern Toten — known for its excellent farming conditions — praised the trip as both inspiring and highly informative. Producing fruit, specialty crops, and field crops, his operation requires flexible and reliable solutions.
He emphasized how well‑organized the trip was thanks to Antti, and noted that Antti’s systems stood out for their adaptability, simplicity, and ease of maintenance — key advantages for any modern farmer.
Anders Wetlesen, who operates one of Norway’s largest farms—450 hectares dedicated to winter and spring crops—was already familiar with Antti technology through his existing MF4 dryer with another manufacturer bioheater.
His main interest was evaluating large‑scale bioheaters. While not yet common on Norwegian farms, bioheaters can become highly cost‑effective with sufficient acreage. Anders explored the possibility of implementing a dual‑dryer setup, maximizing efficiency and ensuring continuous operation without downtime between batches.
